Why Are We Waiting

via Daily Prompt: Waiting

We are all waiting for one thing or another, and it’s one of the things we are doing wrong. No matter what you’re waiting for if you really want it get out there and make it happen. If you just sit around and wait for life to happen you will look back on life years down the road and realize that you still haven’t done anything. Do you want life to just pass you by or get out there and have memories to look back on? Most of us have a list whether written our or just in your head that we all want to accomplish.

Some are waiting for that dream job, others are waiting for love, some are just waiting for time to pass. Despite what the media and movies present to us life isn’t a fairy tale. You are not going to spontaneously wake up one day and have that dream job. If you truly want it you’re going to have to work your butt off to get it. the saying,” Dress for the job you want, not the job you have,” exists for a reason. Instead of always living by chance we should start living purposefully. Once you put your mind to something create a plan of action and set it to motion. Start taking the steps to reach the target whatever it may be.

Stop finding excuses, don’t blame it on your generation, just do it. despite what some may think the only person that can make those changes in your life is you. It can be difficult at the beginning when you are trying to figure out the doable things to reach a goal, but i promise it is definitely worth it.  To everyone reading this get out there and start chasing those dreams and goals.

Until next time,

  1. There’s a lot of talk lately about the possibility of us living in a simulated reality (if Elon Musk thinks it’s true then it has a chance surely!), so on that basis we should all look to do exactly what you say.

It’s like playing Skyrim and sitting in the tavern or park all day every day. If we try and complete computer games with such passion and drive, we should do the same with life 😀
